The scope of the project was the complete redesign of DESIKOS electrical equipment and lighting retail store in Athens – Ilion with an area of 240m2.

The aim of the study was to create a modern elegant showroom, friendly to the customer, which would highlight the company's orientation towards innovative and technologically advanced products.

The existing two-storey shell of the store was preserved with a complete rearrangement of the internal spaces.  The new building program included the creation of an exhibition space, retail and storage space on the ground floor as well as the development of office-administration spaces on the upper floor level.

The geometric differentiation of the ground floor with the use of curved form and tiles of different shades, leads the customer-visitor to constant movement-tour of the space. The path of the curve on the floor connects the spaces and the different uses: entrance - exhibits - tour - sale. The use of earthy shades in the materials and especially the shade of wood on the floor creates a warm atmosphere and friendly mood.  The rotating metal frames with delaplouage mesh in black contrast with the white walls, display the exhibits and encourage the customer to experience them. The architectural lighting with the use of linear RGB Led strips, the specially designed lighting fixtures on the ceilings and the hidden lighting highlight the company's philosophy for innovation and technological development.
